Unai Emery is eager for Arsenal to sign Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe in the summer transfer window, according to a report in France.
French media outlet Le10 Sport, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Arsenal boss is interested in a deal to sign the World Cup winner to bolster his defence.
The same article states that PSG are prepared to sell the 23-year-old in the summer transfer window after the French starlet endured a difficult season at PSG.
According to the same story, Arsenal could struggle to put together a package to sign Kimpembe given Emery’s limited budget to invest in new players ahead of the new season.
The report goes on to add that the north London side would need to spend around £35m to sign the French centre-half ahead of the new Premier League season.
Arsenal look set to be linked with a host of different players in the summer as Emery looks rebuilt following a decent but unspectacular first season in charge.
The Gunners finished in fifth spot in the Premier League table behind Chelsea FC and Tottenham Hotspur to miss out on a place in the Champions League for the third successive season.
Arsenal lost 4-1 to Chelsea FC in the Europa League final in Baku last month.
