Sarri to Juventus?
Chelsea have agreed a deal in principle for their manager Maurizio Sarri to join Serie A champions Juventus.
An agreement was reached late on Thursday evening after talks between senior officials. A deal could be completed as early as today.
It is understood a compensation fee in excess of £5m has been agreed.
The Blues could now turn their attentions to club legend Frank Lampard to take over the mantle at Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal’s defensive targets
Arsenal boss Unai Emery is looking to Spain, France, and Italy as he steps up his search for defensive reinforcements.
RB Leipzig centre-back Dayot Upamecano and Sampdoria’s Joachim Andersen are two players in question.
But it is Saint-Etienne’s William Saliba who they are set to bid for, according to the Daily Mirror.
Arsenal are expected to make an opening offer for Saliba soon with talks between the two clubs well underway.
The 18-year-old however could even be loaned back to Saint-Etienne if he joins the Gunners.
With Laurent Koscielny potentially leaving for Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal need to move fast to sign a replacement.
Matthijs de Ligt to Man Utd?
Matthijs de Ligt has not yet agreed a deal with Paris Saint-Germain, that’s according to his agent Mino Raiola.
The Ajax superstar has been heavily linked with a move to the French champions, along with Manchester United, Liverpool, and Barcelona, amongst others.
PSG are ready to offer him the best wages, but according to Raiola, nothing has been confirmed as yet.
He said: “This is the classic example of fake news.
“The photograph of me and the French journalist in Paris? He asked me to take a picture together, but I did not know who this gentleman was.
“I have never spoken with him.”
Rabiot to snub Man Utd?
Adrien Rabiot could make a shock transfer U-turn and stay at Paris Saint-Germain despite being frozen out of the team for half the season, according to the Daily Mirror.
The 24-year-old midfielder fell out with the club when he refused to sign a new contract, and hasn’t played first-team football since December 2018.
With his contract set to expire at the end of this month he was rumoured to be interesting the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United.
However, due to the alleged exit of sporting director Antero Henrique there is still a chance Rabiot could resurrect his career at Parc de Princes.
