Man Utd to accept £150m for Pogba

Manchester United would allow Paul Pogba to leave for Real Madrid if Zinedine Zidane’s side meet his asking price of £150m.

The Red Devils believe Real are preparing to make a big move to sign the World Cup winner once Gareth Bale departs the Bernabeu.

The Welsh superstar is not in Zidane’s plans and is on the verge of heading to China where he will earn £1m-a-week.

Pogba has made clear to United he wants to go, boosting Real’s hopes of striking a £150m deal, The Sun say.

Lampard makes £75m call at Chelsea

Frank Lampard is set to swing the axe and cut some £75m worth of deadwood free from his Chelsea squad.

The new Blues boss has reportedly told outcasts Tiemoue Bakayoko and Danny Drinkwater that they are surplus to requirements.

Both midfielders have failed to make the grade at Stamford Bridge since arriving in the summer of 2017.

The pair were given chances to impress on Chelsea’s pre-season tours of Ireland and Japan.

And Lampard’s conclusion was the the duo – who cost a combined £75m – will not be part of his plans for the new campaign, according to the Sunday Mirror.
