Ceballos teases Tottenham switch
Tottenham are in talks with Real Madrid over midfielder Dani Ceballos – and the player may have dropped a hint as to where his future lies.
Chances of Tottenham being able to persuade Real to sell the 22-year-old are slim, due to the length of his contract as the Spain international still has four years remaining on his Bernabeu deal.
So according to Sky Sports, the most likely outcome of the talks appears to be a one-year loan spell at Spurs.
Meanwhile, one image posted on his Instagram account caught the eye of Spurs fans as he was pictured inside a traditional London phonebox.
And the mysterious emojis which adorned the photo seemed to suggest he could be London-bound.
Man Utd in £18m Lemina talks
Manchester United have been given permission to speak to Mario Lemina by Southampton with an £18m deal in place.
The Times are reporting that United have an interest in Southampton star Lemina.
It is said that Southampton have given United permission to talk to the former Juventus ace, who joined two years ago for a then-club record fee of £18m from them.
And it understood that an offer similar to the one the south coast paid will be enough to secure his services.
It was only at the weekend when the midfielder admitted he was open to leaving the Saints.
Emery wants another centre-half
Arsenal boss Unai Emery will go straight back into the transfer market for another centre-back after the William Saliba deal is done.
BBC Sport report that Arsenal are edging nearer to confirming the signing of Saliba from Saint-Etienne for £26.5m.
It is a huge fee for an 18-year-old but the payment will be made in instalments that will not affect this year’s budget much.
Furthermore, the Frenchman will be loaned back to Les Verts for next season to continue his development.
But Emery is not satisfied and is demanding a centre-back he can use this season.
Zouma to Everton latest
Everton have accepted Chelsea manager Frank Lampard needs to look at Kurt Zouma.
The new Blues boss wants to assess his squad before making decisions on players’ futures.
The Toffees hope to strike a deal with Chelsea this summer to land the centre-half permanently following his successful season on loan at Goodison Park.
But The Telegraph say Everton are willing to remain patient in their pursuit of the France centre-half.
Zouma could yet convince Lampard he should be a part of his plans at Stamford Bridge moving forward.
