Khedira to Arsenal?
Arsenal are close to signing Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira, it has been claimed.
Khedira, 32, was at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday for the pre-season friendly defeat to Lyon.
Unai Emery played down speculation the German was set to join Arsenal.
But, according to Italian football journalist Tancredi Palmeri, Khedira is on the brink of a move.
“Khedira close to join Arsenal,” Palmeri wrote on Twitter.
Milinkovic-Savic to Man Utd?
Manchester United have secured a verbal agreement over a contract for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Old Trafford bosses have reportedly held talks with Milinkovic-Savic’s agent – ex-Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman.
The Lazio midfielder will reportedly put pen to paper on a five-year deal, worth £5.4m per season if a transfer goes through.
A move for Milinkovic-Savic will only be considered, however, if Paul Pogba is sold.
Pepe to Arsenal?
Arsenal are in negotiations with Nicolas Pepe over a £140,000-a-week contract, according to The Sun.
A £72m fee has been agreed with Lille for the Ivory Coast forward, who is set to become the third most expensive player in Premier League history.
Unai Emery has admitted he is looking forward to seeing Pepe in his team.
“Nicolas Pepe is a very good player and we are thinking only about signing players who will really improve this squad and also give us different conditions,” the Arsenal boss said.
Kent to Rangers?
Jurgen Klopp has revealed Ryan Kent will only be able to return to Rangers on a permanent basis after ruling out another loan.
“Ryan has improved a hell of a lot. He came back a completely different player,” the Liverpool boss said.
“If Rangers can buy him [he can go back]. The time is over for him to go on loan.
“You put players on loan until a specific age but they need to find a place where they can settle.”
Neres to Tottenham?
Tottenham will look at Ajax star David Neres should they fail in their pursuit of Paulo Dybala and Giovani Lo Celso.
Mauricio Pochettino is on the hunt for a replacement for contract rebel Christian Eriksen.
Tottenham are being frustrated in the transfer market, however, with Dybala reluctant to leave Juventus and Real Betis demanding a big fee for Lo Celso.
Everton are also interest in Neres but Calciomercato claim a £54m deal could be offered to Ajax from Spurs.
