Liverpool told star will cost £94m
Barcelona have placed a £94m price-tag on Ousmane Dembele’s head after Liverpool reportedly asked about his availability.
Spanish publication AS has claimed that the La Liga champions want to reclaim the initial fee they shelled out for the star.
Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan of Dembele and has previously admitted he would love to sign him.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are being tipped to make a move to sign Christian Eriksen from Tottenham this summer by Jamie O’Hara.
Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports News, O’Hara said: “[Liverpool] need a central midfield player.
“I’ve got a sneaky suspicion that they might try and take Eriksen from Tottenham as he’s in the last year on his deal.
“He’s the type of player they need.”
Arsenal step up interest in left-back
Arsenal boss Unai Emery is growing convinced that Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney is the man to replace ageing left-back Nacho Monreal.
The Spaniard will turn 34 next season and Emery wants to sign Tierney, 22, to inject some youth into his defence.
The Scotland international is under contract at Celtic Park until 2023, meaning he won’t come cheaply.
According to The Sun, Arsenal may be forced to fork out in the region of £20m to land Tierney this summer.
Man Utd £50m Bournemouth swoop
Manchester United are planning to sign Bouremouth winger David Brooks with cash raised by selling out of favour striker Romelu Lukaku.
Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sees Marcus Rashofrd as his first choice striker and is prepared to sanction the Belgian’s sale.
Lukaku is keen to link up with Antonio Conte, who is set to take charge at the San Siro, with a sale expected to raise £75m.
And according to The Sun, United will reinvest £50m of thse funds in the Cherries’ highly-rated, 21-year-old winger Brooks.
Brooks is a boyhood Red Devils fan and open to the idea of playing for the club.
