– Philippe Coutinho’s loyalty to Liverpool will see a move to Manchester United blocked
– Mauruzio Sarri wants to take two Chelsea players with him to Juventus
– Arsenal legend Charlie Nicholas has suggested the Gunners could cash in on Lucas Torreira
West Ham eye Savarino
Manuel Pellegrini wants £6m Real Salt Lake winger Jefferson Savarino.
But the West Ham boss faces competition for Chile defender Guillermo Maripan after the Alaves star was offered to AC Milan.
Pellegrini will have Venezuelan Savarino watched when he plays in the Copa America in the early hours of Wednesday against hosts Brazil.
The 22-year-old playmaker has scored three times so far in this season’s Major League Soccer, and Pellegrini feels he would add more potency to the West Ham attack.
He has already secured the signature of highly-rated attacking midfielder Pablo Fornals from Villarreal for £24m, the second-highest fee ever paid by the club.
Sarri’s Chelsea demand
Juventus appointed Maurizio Sarri as their new manager on Sunday – and he has two Chelsea players he wants to take to Italy with him.
According to the Times, Jorginho and Emerson Palmieri are at the top of Sarri’s list for Juve bosses to bring in this summer.
The former Napoli manager will be commanding some of the finest talents in the game next season.
Deep-lying playmaker Jorginho didn’t take long to follow Sarri to Chelsea from Napoli last summer, signing for around £50m.
But it looks like he will be on the move again to follow his manager, having also enjoyed a turbulent year in west London.
Sarri is also thought to be keen on taking left-back Emerson to Turin with him.
Arsenal should sell Torreira?
Arsenal should consider selling Lucas Torreira this summer if they receive a fair price for him, says pundit Charlie Nicholas.
A host of players have been linked with exits with Torreira attracting interest from Italy.
And Nicholas has named Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and maybe Torreira as players who could leave.
“The key I think for the Arsenal right now is who they can get out the door,” he told Sky Sports.
“If you can get the right offer and move Ozil out, Mkhitaryan can go, I want to keep obviously [Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang and [Alexandre] Lacazette and give youngsters an opportunity here.
“Torreira’s another one who seems to be interested in going back to Italy – if you get the right money, take it.
“But come on, start moving on.
“I’m going to wake up in the next couple of weeks and hopefully over those periods of time Arsenal have signed two or three players defensively.”
Coutinho not interested in Man Utd
Philippe Coutinho looks set to leave Barcelona this summer but his loyalties to Liverpool will block a move to Manchester United.
A host of clubs have been linked with the Brazil international including Manchester United, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain.
Old Trafford bosses have been monitoring Coutinho’s availability but appear to be out of the race.
According to Sky Sports, the 27-year-old has decided he will not join the Red Devils out of respect to former club Liverpool.
A move to Chelsea appears to be off the cards because of their two-window transfer ban.
The Blues will only be able to firm up their interest if an appeal against the suspension proves successful.
As a result, PSG appear to be the last team standing.
