Maguire to Man Utd?

Manchester United have decided to postpone their swoop for Leicester City star Harry Maguire.

According to the Standard, Old Trafford are refusing to pay the £90m fee quoted by Foxes bosses.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is on the hunt for a new defender but will need Leicester to compromise.

Maguire is understood to be Solskjaer’s leading target to strengthen his backline.

Ceballos to Arsenal?

Arsenal will launch a bid for Real Madrid fringe man Dani Ceballos.

According to Eldes Marque, the Gunners’ opening gambit will total £42m (€48m).

It is claimed Real Madrid bigwig Florentino Perez is likely to accept.

Arsenal’s total transfer budget before player sales is understood to be just £45m.

Lo Celso to Tottenham?

Tottenham have agreed personal terms with Real Betis ace Giovani Lo Celso.

According to Estadio Deportivo, Spurs have settled on a £150,000-a-week deal with the Argentina international.

All that reportedly remains is to reach an agreement on the transfer fee with Real Betis.

Despite having differing valuations, there is a mutual desire to settle on a fee.

Van Dijk to Barcelona?

Virgil van Dijk laughed off interest from Barcelona, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Nou Camp club reportedly enquired about the Liverpool star’s availability to his representatives.

They were told, however, that Van Dijk was staying at Anfield.

Liverpool signed the Dutchman from Southampton for £75m in January 2018.
