Arsenal are thought to have made a £40million offer for the forward, however Palace have valued him at £80million.
‘I don’t think Arsenal have actually made a bid that has come anywhere near our valuation,’ said Hodgson.
Arsenal are some way off getting their transfer target Wilfried Zaha, according to Roy Hodgson
Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson says they haven’t come ‘anywhere near’ their valuation
‘I’m sure the player realises that if someone’s going to take him away from us, he’ll expect clubs to pay the market value.
‘Until someone does that, there’s not much to discuss regarding Wilf.’
Celtic also sent a similar message to Arsenal on Tuesday, saying that the Gunners hadn’t met their valuation of Kieran Tierney.
Arsenal also have their eye on the likes of Everton Soares and Nicolas Pepe.
Hodgson went on to say that there’s ‘not much to discuss’ until someone pays the market value
Hodgson also admitted that Palace have ‘enormous problems at the back at the moment,’ following his side’s 6-2 defeat to non-league Barnet on Tuesday.
Star defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka has departed for Manchester United, and is yet to be replaced.
‘We really don’t have any defenders to speak of,’ said Hodgson. ‘Aaron’s gone and we’ve got three others injured.’
