Gnabry has enjoyed a whirlwind career to date but appears to have finally settled down at Bundesliga giants Bayern, where he has flourished during his first full season.
A fine 2018-19 campaign, which saw him score 10 goals and create seven assists in the Bundesliga, has been capped off by winning the special individual accolade at the Allianz Arena.

But it could have been a whole lot different for Gnabry, who started off his senior career in the Premier League with Arsenal.
After being sent on loan to the Hawthorns during the 2015-16 season following a knee injury that halted his progress at Arsenal, his career failed to take off due to a frankly nightmare loan spell.
The switch to the Hawthorns appeared to be the perfect move to allow him to reintegrate into Premier League football but that was not the case.
Talking to The Express and Star during Gnabry’s loan stint, Pulis confirmed he had been disappointed: ‘Serge has come here to play games but he just hasn’t been for me, at the moment, at that level to play games.
‘He’s come from academy football and has not played much league football. Does academy football really prepare players for league football? And we’re talking about Premier League football here.
Gnabry was once deemed not good enough to play for West Brom by Tony Pulis
‘As a manager you pick a team that’s going to win a game of football. You pick your best team, you don’t leave people out because you don’t like them, because of this, that and the other.’
The winger made just three appearances for West Brom but he has now turned back into one of the most exciting prospects around at Bayern after signing in 2017 from Werder Bremen.
The 23-year-old, who was then sent on loan to Hoffenheim during 2017-18, played a star role as Bayern clinched their seventh Bundesliga title in a row, beating Borussia Dortmund by two points.
Gnabry also lifted the German Cup title last season thanks to a 3-0 victory over RB Leipzig in the final at the end of May.
