Arsenal striker, Alexandre Lacazette, could be on the move in the summer with both Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid suggested as potential destinations.
According to Spanish publication, AS, the French striker could be targeted once again by Atletico, while Zinedine Zidane is also keeping a watchful eye over potential striking options.
Recent reports have claimed Lacazette’s relationship with Mikel Arteta have soured. This is a far cry away from 12 months ago, when the Gunners boss described his striker as ‘clinical’ and ‘helping the team with lots of options’.
Lacazette, now 29, could well be part of Arteta’s plans to move people on from the Arsenal squad as he continues to look to put his own stamp on proceedings at The Emirates.
The striker has been in good form of late, however, scoring four goals in his last four Premier League games.
TBR View: A tough call on Lacazette, his experience is useful but age is an issue
It seems Arteta is going down the path of giving his younger players a chance but within any squad there also needs to be an element of experience.
It poses quite the problem for Arteta, then. Lacazette is thought to be on big money, too, meaning the club would be once again shaving the wage bill if he was sold.
But the flipside to that is his form and goalscoring ability. It will be hard to replace, which presents Arteta with another problem when it comes to the market.
