‘Please don’t be a Suarez’, ‘Fantastic’: Some Arsenal fans buzzing as 22-year-old reportedly nears move

Arsenal’s summer recruitment drive looks like it could be about to kick start ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.

According to BBC Sport, the Gunners are close to securing a deal to take Dani Ceballos on loan for the season from Real Madrid.

The 22-year-old has fallen down the pecking order under Zinedine Zidane and will move in search of regular football.

Ceballos was in fine form during the Under-21 European Championships this summer. He netted twice and registered two assists as Spain won the tournament.

Arsenal fans will be delighted to see Unai Emery finally kick-start the summer recruitment.

After missing out on the Champions League last season, the Spaniard knows he must try and get there this time around.

Ceballos might only arrive on loan but if he impresses and helps Arsenal back into Europe’s elite club competition, they could well try and sign him.

The vast majority are delighted with the potential signing. Despite his struggles at Madrid, they hope he can make an impact on the Premier League.
