Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reassured Arsenal supporters that there’s more to come from Unai Emery’s front three.

The Gunners manager opted to start Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Nicolas Pepe for the first time since the Ivory Coast international’s club-record £72m move to Arsenal in the north London derby clash against Tottenham on Sunday.

Trailing 2-0 to the visitors, Lacazette managed to halve the deficit on the stroke of half-time with a brilliant solo goal to score his second Premier League strike of the new season.

Former Borussia Dortmund striker Aubameyang then got on the end of Matteo Guendouzi’s cross to level the north London derby with his third goal of the Premier League campaign.

Pepe didn’t get on the score-sheet but the summer signing provided a constant threat down the wing as Spurs defender Davison Sanchez struggled to cope with the pacy attacker.

And Aubameyang is confident the Arsenal trio can improve and progress together in the coming months.

“I think we still need to improve as well,” Aubameyang told beIN Sports, as quoted by Metro.

“We did some good things today but as I always say, we can always progress and I’m looking forward to playing with those two more.”

Lacazette moved to Arsenal in a £52m deal from Ligue 1 side Lyon in the 2017 summer transfer window following years of speculation.

Arsenal spent £56m on Aubameyang to lure the Gabon striker to the English capital from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018.

Emery saw off competition to sign Pepe to complete a £72m deal for the prolific Ligue 1 star in the most recent transfer window.
