‘No, you’re wrong’: Some Leeds fans not happy with Whites man’s tweet

A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to respond to Andrea Radrizzani after the Whites chairman took exception to a headline concerning Arsenal loanee Eddie Nketiah.

Nketiah told Sky Sports in the wake of England’s under-21 win over Austria that he is not going to be happy when he is not playing regularly.

The 20-year-old joined Leeds on loan in the summer. However, he is still awaiting his first Championship start for the club. He has scored four goals in all competitions, including two crucial strikes in the league after coming off the bench.

The Gunners prospect sent a message to Marcelo Bielsa during the international break. He scored four goals in two games, including a hat-trick on Tuesday night. And it was after that Nketiah hinted that it has not been the easiest time for him as he is not starting games.

“Obviously, I will never be happy with being on the bench. I want to play. I pride myself on being in the team. I think I am good enough to be in the team,” he told Sky Sports.

However, Radrizzani has taken exception to the article and suggested that Nketiah’s comments have been twisted. The Italian has hit out at the media for the handling of the stories concerning Nketiah and the interview he gave to The Times earlier in the week.

There is some support for Radrizzani’s comments from Leeds fans. Plenty have expressed their own frustration towards the media and how the club is often portrayed. But the majority of the supporters who have responded to the Leeds owner have actually criticised what he has said.

Several have insisted that Nketiah’s words have not been twisted, and believe that he has every right to be frustrated with Leeds struggling to score goals at the moment.

Here is Radrizzani’s tweet, as well as some of the responses…
