Michael Owen believes that things are looking up at Arsenal under Unai Emery.
The Gunners have made a decent start to the new Premier League season and they currently find themselves in third place in the table and a single point behind defending champions Manchester City.
Arsenal are aiming to try and break back into the top four this season after they finished in fifth place and without a trophy in Emery’s first campaign in charge.
The north London side have only lost one game in all competitions this season and they sealed a 1-0 win over Bournemouth before the international break to move up to third spot in the table.
Former Liverpool FC star Owen feels that Arsenal fans have plenty to be positive about this season.
Speaking in an interview quoted by the Daily Express, Owen said: “Good signs because you’ve almost got two XIs.
“Kieran Tierney was blooded last game in the Europa League and looks good, coming back to fitness.
“There’s a lot of good young players. Times are looking good for Arsenal.
“Bournemouth started last season really well, they’ve started this season pretty well as well, so for Arsenal to win was not an easy game let’s say in the form that Bournemouth were in.”
Arsenal are aiming to try and break back into the top four this season after they finished fifth and reached the Europa League final last term.
The north London side have not won the Premier League title since their famous unbeaten triumph under Arsene Wenger back in the 2003-04 campaign.
Arsenal will return to Premier League action after the international break with a trip to Sheffield United.
