That is the view of ESPN FC pundit Craig Burley, who says that Manchester United need to improve in a few areas this summer.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a huge rebuilding job on his hands after seeing his team finish sixth in the Premier League.
And without Champions League football to offer potential signings this summer, the Norwegian has his work cut out.
One player that has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford is Paris Saint-Germain right-back Meunier.
The Belgium international is also being followed closely by Arsenal with both teams needing reinforcements in that position.
And Burley claims Meunier would go a long way to solving United’s problems on the right.
But he says they must improve in plenty of other areas on the pitch as well.
“Well I haven’t got a list of players in front of me who United are targeting,” Burley said. “But what we do know is they are targeting the right side.
“What we do know is they are targeting the right side”
“It’s one of many areas of that team that has to be strengthened.
“[Meunier has] great experience for club and country and is a natural down that right side so I’m going to say this has the potential to be a hit.”
Meunier is out of contract at PSG at the end of next season.
And the Belgian has confirmed there have been discussions with other clubs.
“It’s something that could suit me,” Meunier told Le Parisien.
“I don’t think the club would make a lot of money from me, actually.
“I have a market value, but I’m a defender, I play one game out of three and I’m turning 28.
“There have been phone calls since January with interested clubs. There are a dozen clubs, all of which are in the top five of their leagues.”
