Lucas Torreria in bizarre reaction to to Arsenal star Aubameyang’s goal against Spurs

Arsenal fought back from 2-0 down to claim a point against their biggest rivals Tottenham in a swashbuckling match at the Emirates.

Mauricio Pochettino will be pulling his hair out after watching his side throw the match away despite being in a strong position.

It all started with a Christian Eriksen goal following some questionable defending from the Gunners.

Bernd Leno palmed a save down low but as he laid on the ground Eriksen stole in to net the opener.

Harry Kane made it 2-0 from the spot after a rash challenge from Granit Xhaka on Heung-min Son but Alexandre Lacazette equalised on the stroke of half-time.

After a strong second-half display, the Gunners deservedly grabbed an equaliser through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

A delightful ball from Matteo Guendouzi was met by the Gabon international’s studs to net past Hugo Lloris.

It sent the Emirates into raptures with the players and the fans going ballistic, with the Arsenal bench particularly animated.

However, one man remained strangely static amid the furore in Lucas Torreira.

The Uruguayan was subbed off shortly before for Dani Ceballos – who made an immediate impact.

But the former Sampdoria midfielder was also having a good game and can feel disheartened to have been hauled off.

His lack of reaction was bizarre amid the scenes around him, with the likes of Unai Emery, Reiss Nelson and Joe Willock celebrating wildly.

Torreira has been linked with a move away from Arsenal this summer after he revealed he was feeling homesick.
