Liverpool have ramped up their efforts to sign Lille’s Nicolas Pepe and could table an offer for the winger in the region of £71m.
L’Equipe have reported on Thursday that the Ivory Coast international has been of major interest to Jurgen Klopp and that Liverpool are prepared to spend big on the 24-year-old.

Pepe has sparked interest from England’s major clubs after scoring 22 goals in 39 appearances last season for Lille.
And Lille manager Christophe Galtier has already confirmed Pepe is going to exit the club.
Galtier told Canal+: ‘Nicolas Pepe will leave. Life’s like that, football’s like that today.’
