Juventus are pursuing the former Napoli manager to replace the outgoing Massimiliano Allegri.
Corriere Dello Sport went with the headline: ‘Maurizio triumphs and Juve wait for him’.
Tuttosport said ‘Sarri triumphs and now for Juve’ after Chelsea’s 4-1 victory over Arsenal
La Gazzetta dello Sport said ‘Sarri flies’ and that Juventus will try and hire Maurizio Sarri
Tuttosport were along the same lines as they said ‘Sarri triumphs and now for Juve’.
La Gazzetta dello Sport said ‘Sarri flies’ and said the Serie A champions will continue their pursuit.
Sportsmail understands Juventus players have been told to expect Sarri to be appointed as their next manager.
The news comes as Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck was spotted meeting with Juve counterpart Andrea Agnelli in the club’s team hotel before the game.
Agnelli is in Baku on UEFA business but Italian outlet Tuttosport say that the pair also met to discuss Sarri’s future. They add that Sarri and Agnelli met in the five-star Four Seasons hotel.
The Blues boss is aware of Juve’s offer and is known to be tempted by the opportunity to work in Turin.
And the Serie A club are increasingly confident of luring Sarri back to Italy, to the point where they have informed players to expect the 60-year-old to be in charge next term.
Chelsea would demand £5million compensation for Sarri, but that is not understood to be an issue for the Italian giants.
