That’s the revelation made by Crescenzo Cecere, the goalkeeper’s agent.
The Gunners are desperate for fresh faces this summer as they look to bounce back from a disappointing campaign.
Unai Emery’s side failed to qualify for the Champions League after finishing fifth in the Premier League and losing the Europa League final to Chelsea.
Arsenal need reinforcements at the back to fix their leaky defence but they also need to replace their outgoing stars.
Aaron Ramsey is out of contract and is set to join Juventus, while Danny Welbeck has been released.
Petr Cech is retiring and will join Chelsea as sporting director.
And Emery is in the market for a new goalkeeper to provide competition to current No.1 Bernd Leno.
Radu spent the season on loan at Genoa and is tied to the Italian club until 2021, although Inter have a buy-back clause in place.
“There was also an enquiry from Arsenal.”

And Cecere has revealed that Arsenal are among one of the clubs that have enquired about him this summer.
“The player is from Genoa and has a contract with them for another two years,” he told FCInterNews.
“Inter has a right to recall him and if they want to exercise it, it will depend only on them, and we’ll listen to them.
“There are so many teams interested, including Lyon.
“Recently, there was also an enquiry from Arsenal.
“He is a very interesting prospect since he is growing a lot, from all points of view.”
Arsenal have also reportedly made a double bid for Sampdoria pair Dennis Praet and Joachim Andersen.
And they’re close to announcing the signing of 17-year-old Brazilian striker Gabriel Martinelli.
