Ian Wright gave a rousing speech to the England Women squad ahead of their World Cup quarter-final victory against Norway, but the Arsenal legend was stopped in his tracks when he spotted a familiar face.
Wright was addressing Phil Neville’s talented squad when he saw none other than his former England team-mate David Beckham.
Beckham also spoke to the Lionesses before the game, with his daughter Harper also in attendance as they dined with the squad.

Wright said: ‘God Is that Mrs B? Is that Becks at the back?’.
Wright then hugged Beckham and joked that the former Manchester United winger had to buy the squad dinner.

The presence of Wright and Beckham ahead of the game in Le Havre certainly seemed to have the desired effect, with England running out 3-0 winners against Norway.
Jill Scott, Ellen White and Lucy Bronze were all on the scoresheet as England set up an intriguing semi-final clash with the USA, which will take place on Tuesday.
