Gunnersaurus was between the sticks at the Emirates Stadium when an Arsenal supporter was invited onto the pitch to try their luck from a spot-kick.
But it didn’t go to plan for either the fan or the club’s giant cuddly mascot.
That’s after the youngster stepped up and blasted his penalty too high and right in to the head of Gunnersaurus.
The Arsenal mascot played dead in the back of the net after crashing to the ground as the Junior Gunner was urged to finish the job by the PA.
Fans watching on laughed as Gunnersaurus lay prone on the turf and then cheered as the young Arsenal fan, who was wearing a goalie shirt with retired star Petr Cech’s name on the back, finished the job by firing into the corner of the goal.
One Arsenal fan joked: “Still better than Cech”
Another said: “I bet this guy in that dino-costume would be a better defender then mustafi.”
While a third tweeted: “Great save. Leno has competition.”

Arsenal lost 2-1 to Lyon at the Emirates yesterday as they continue to prepare for their Premier League opener away at Newcastle on Sunday August 11.
Nicolas Pepe is set to be in their squad for that game, with the Gunners closing on a £72m deal for the Lille star.
“We are working for the last few weeks and before starting the season in the first match in Newcastle,” manager Unai Emery said.
“Our aim is to get the best team with the best players in our squad.
“We are working and also thinking about how we can improve.
“There are different players on the table with the possibility that we can achieve their signature.
“Pepe is a very good player and we are thinking only of players who can really, really improve this squad and also give us some different conditions to improve.”
