Dimitar Berbatov has admitted that he is a big admirer of Arsenal duo Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Gunners strikers will be hoping to have an impact on their Premier League clash against Liverpool FC at Anfield on Saturday evening.

Aubameyang and Lacazette have made impressive starts to the season following the north London side’s successive victories in the Premier League.

The Gabon international has scored the winner in both their wins against Newcastle United and Burnley.

Lacazette broke the deadlock in a 2-1 victory over Sean Dyche’s side in the Premier League last weekend.

Unai Emery will be hoping Aubameyang and Lacazette can cause Liverpool FC’s defence problems when they make the trip to last season’s runner ups on Saturday evening.

Former Tottenham striker Berbatov was full of praise of Arsenal duo Aubameyang and Lacazette for their clinical performances.

“It is first against second and it is going to be a massive game,” Berbatov told Betfair. “I f***ing love Aubameyang and Lacazette, I like watching them play and their partnership is blossoming.

“The way they play off each other and the goals they score, their quickness and sharpness is unbelievable. The same goes for Liverpool’s attacking players as well.

“Overall I think, Arsenal are lacking a bit in defence and I think Liverpool’s players will take advantage of that when the teams meet on Saturday.

“I would love it to be a goal fest but there is probably going to be a lot of tactical decisions made before the game on how to stop each other, in the end you are fighting for the three points.

“If there is a goal early in the game it will probably open the game but if not, there will probably be a few tactical changes and it will come down to who makes the first mistake.”

Arsenal are looking to secure a top-four finish for the first time in four seasons.

The Gunners signed Gabriel Martinelli, William Saliba, Dani Ceballos, Nicolas Pepe, Kieran Tierney and David Luiz in the summer transfer window.

Arsenal have scored three goals in their opening two Premier League games thanks to the efforts of Aubameyang and Lacazette.

Liverpool FC and Arsenal are the only two teams left in the Premier League with a 100 per cent record.
