Arsenal are looking to raid Sampdoria once again this summer.
The Gunners landed Lucas Torreira from the Serie A outfit 12 months ago and have been linked with centre-back Joachim Andersen.
But Praet remains their main target from the Italian club.
The Belgian midfielder looks set to leave Sampdoria this summer and has recently admitted the club will accept offers in the coming months.
Now his agent Martin Riha has spoken out regarding a potential transfer.
“Dennis is a complete player and ready to move to a top club,” he told CalcioMercato.
When asked if Arsenal are one of the clubs chasing Praet, Riha added: “I don’t want to say more now, I think you can understand.”
Praet has made his feelings clear in recent weeks, admitting he is ready for a big move.
“I want to move to a top club in one of the four top leagues,” he said in May.
“I don’t have a release clause, but Sampdoria have verbally agreed to grant me a move if an interesting offer arrives.”
Arsenal are also chasing Dalian Yifang star Yannick Carrasco.
The Chinese outfit are said to have slapped a £30m price tag on the former Atletico Madrid star.
But Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur claims the club aren’t letting Carrasco go without a fight.
“Transfer status: it’s complicated. Arsenal and Bayern have been in touch over Yannick Carrasco,” he tweeted.
“The player wants to return to Europe, but Dalian Yifang are playing hardball. #afc.”
Arsenal will again be forced to watch their spending this summer as Unai Emery faces another window with little funds at his disposal.
But with Carrasco openly admitting that he wants a return to Europe, the Gunners are likely to meet Dalian’s demands.
