Kieran Tierney is thought to be keen on a move to Arsenal but the Gunners will need to up their bid for the Scottish defender, according to a report in England.
The Daily Mail, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Scotland international is eager to complete a move to Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
The same article states that Arsenal have already been in talks with Celtic over a potential swoop to sign the highly-rated left-back.
According to the same story, Arsenal have submitted a £15m bid for the 22-year-old but Celtic value the left-back at around £25m.
The report goes on to say that Tierney is ready to test himself at the next level despite being a boyhood Celtic supporter.
The Scottish full-back will have seen Andy Robertson’s rapid elevation to one of the Premier League’s best left-backs over the past 18 months.
Tierney was initially ahead of Robertson in the pecking order in the Scotland national team but the Liverpool FC defender has seen his stock rise sharply.
Robertson has managed to establish himself as one of the best left-backs in the Premier League if not the best over the past season or so.
The Liverpool FC star won the Champions League earlier this month.
