‘Cannot attack or defend’: These Arsenal fans are losing patience with 26-year-old

Arsenal went third in the Premier League table thanks to a 1-0 win over Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners are now just a point behind Manchester City after the champions’ shock home defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers, and there is a feeling of optimism in north London again.

Arsenal have lost just one game in all competitions so far this season, which is encouraging given their attack is yet to hit top form.

Unai Emery will be pleased with the fact his side have kept two straight clean sheets, with the defence having come under a lot of criticism so far this term.

Despite the win-to-nil result, Arsenal’s backline was still somewhat unconvincing, barring Calum Chambers who really impressed at right-back.

One man who continues to look shaky is Sead Kolasinac, who got the nod ahead of Kieran Tierney.

The Bosnia international’s position in the side is now under threat with Tierney now firmly in the picture after recovering from injury, and his performance against Bournemouth was indifferent.
