Mark Lawrenson is backing Arsenal to claim a 2-0 victory from their trip to Sheffield United in the Premier League on Monday night.
The Gunners head into the game looking to try and continue their recent good form and push for a top-four finish in the Premier League.
Unai Emery’s men head into this weekend’s round of fixtures in third place in the Premier League table as they bid to try and maintain their push for Champions League qualification.
The north London side were 1-0 winners over Bournemouth at The Emirates last time out as they moved up to within just one point of defending champions Manchester City.
And former Liverpool FC star Lawrenson is backing the Gunners to claim all three points when they make the trip to Bramall Lane on Monday night.
Writing in his column for BBC Sport, Lawrenson said: “Sheffield United have picked up six points away so far, compared to three at home.
“They like to play on the front foot and it feels like that is working out better for them on the road, especially against the tougher teams.
“This might be a similar story. Arsenal appear to be improving at both ends of the pitch and I just have a feeling they will edge this one.”
Arsenal are aiming to break back into the top four this season after they finished in fifth place in the table and without a trophy last term.
The Gunners reached the Europa League final last season but ended up losing 4-1 to Chelsea in the showpiece in Baku.
