The Gunners’ failure to qualify for the Champions League has left them fighting to keep hold of their biggest stars.
Reports claim Simeone is looking for another top striker to replace Griezmann and he could offer Lacazette a chance to play in Europe’s top competition.
The Frenchman, who moved to England from Lyon back in the summer of 2017, has formed a formidable partnership with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for Unai Emery’s side.
Lacazette scored 19 goals in 49 appearances last season, with Aubameyang racking up 31 in his first full season at the Emirates.
Emery is nevertheless looking to strengthen his forward line. He has already landed exciting Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli, while Wilfried Zaha is also a target for the Gunners.
