Wilfried Zaha to the Emirates?
Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha is keen to follow Aaron Wan-Bissaka out of the exit door at Selhurst Park.
The Ivorian made it known earlier this summer that he wanted to leave which prompted the Eagles to slap an £80m price tag on him and the BBC claim he is keen on a switch to north London.
Palace are loathed to see two of their star players go and will fight hard to keep the 26-year-old academy graduate.
Arsenal are also restricted by their minimal transfer budget that has left manager Unai Emery with just £45m to work with.
The Spaniard has a list of positions he wants to see strengthened so splurging £80m on a winger doesn’t seem likely.
Zaha’s desire to leave may see Arsenal make enquiries, but the deal looks a tall order if neither club is prepared to change their stance.
First summer signing incoming
Emery could be about to announce his first signing of the summer in the form of Saint Etienne defender William Saliba.
The 18-year-old has attracted interest despite only becoming a first team player this season.
ESPN claim a fee of around £22m is enough to lure him to the Emirates.
Although a loan deal is in place which will see Saliba remain in France for the upcoming season.
Lucas Torreira not interest in AC Milan move
Arsenal’s Uruguayan has calmed the link between himself and a move to Italy this summer.
Torreira only left Serie A 12 months ago when Arsenal lured him away from Sampdoria, but an impressive debut campaign in the Premier League has seen one of Italy’s giants express an interest.
The 23-year-old is currently trying to help his Uruguay side win the Copa America, but maintained Arsenal is “one of the greatest teams in the world”.
“About AC Milan’s interest, I don’t know much,” he told reporters on Wednesday. “This matter was generated due to my statements made in a press conference in Montevideo.
“No one has called me from Milan. Nowadays, I’m at Arsenal, one of the greatest teams in the world.
“You all know it has been complicated for me, I’m from a little town and now playing in the Premier League, but I’m happy and proud of being part of Arsenal.”
