Arsenal are still interested in signing Yannick Carrasco this summer but they have not accelerated their interest in the Belgian, according to reports.
Website football.london is reporting that the 25-year-old Belgium international is still on Arsenal’s radar but there has not yet been a “serious” push from the Gunners to secure his signature.
According to the same story, Carrasco “fits the bill” in terms of what Unai Emery is looking to bring to his squad this summer as he prepares for his second season in charge of the club.
Emery reportedly sees Dalian Yifang’s Carrasco as a good potential addition as he is a wide player who is blessed with pace.
However, it is also made clear in the same story that Arsenal have not yet made a bid or stepped up their interest in signing the attacker.
Carrasco scored seven goals and made two assists in 10 league appearances for Dalian Yifang last season.
Arsenal are thought to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to challenge for Champions League qualification next season.
The north London side finished in fifth place in the Premier League and without a trophy after they lost 4-1 to Chelsea FC in the Europa League final last month.
