Arsenal’s Matteo Guendouzi reckons the club’s newly assembled front three will be finding the net with regularity this season.
A wealth of goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were a driving force behind Arsenal’s bid for a top-four spot last term.
In the summer they added Nicolas Pepe for a club-record £72m from Lille.
The Ivorian was one of a number of new recruits that have led to renewed optimism around north London.
And Guendouzi is particularly thrilled to have Pepe join and is excited about the possibilities Arsenal have in attack.
“He is a great guy and he is going to bring us a lot.” he told Canal Sport.
“We have already seen when he came on against Burnley that he has the ability to beat players.
“And I think with Lacazette and Aubameyang, they are going to score a lot of goals this season.”
Tottenham pipped Arsenal to fourth place by a point back in May.
Unai Emery’s first season in charge ultimately ended in disappointment after defeat in the Europa League final extended their Champions League absence to three years.
But their French midfielder maintains, following a successful summer of recruitment, they are well in the hunt for the top four.
“I don’t think we are outsiders,” he added. “Compared to last season, we have a really good squad and stadium.
“I believe in our ability to finish in the top four and play the Champions League next season. The objective is to qualify for the Champions League.”
