Arsenal are reportedly on the cusp of announcing their fourth summer signing after reaching a transfer agreement with Lille for Nicolas Pepe.
The Ivorian has been touted to make a big-club move this summer and it appeared that he could be heading to Napoli before the Gunners hijacked the deal.
According to BBC Sport, the north London side are understood to have won the race to sign the 24-year-old winger after agreeing on a deal worth £72m with the French outfit.
The same publication claims that the club had convinced the player with the contractual terms, although they will pay the transfer fee to Lille in the form of instalments.
Pepe, who is a regular with the Ivorian national side, had a fantabulous season with Lille last term, where he contributed 23 goals and 11 assists in the French Ligue 1.
He is currently on a vacation following his exploits at the African Cup of Nations but is expected to return in the next few days to finalise his transfer to the Gunners.
