Bowen has been under the watchful eye of Arsenal since January, and may be seen as a cheaper option than Wilfried Zaha.
Zaha is top of the Gunners’ wishlist, but Crystal Palace have slapped an £80million price tag on him, with Arsenal only willing to splash £40million on the forward.
Arsenal are thought to be about to bid £12million for Hull City star striker Jarrod Bowen
He has some Premier League experience, but not as much as top Gunners target Wilfried Zaha
Bowen is four years younger than the 26-year-old Zaha, but has less experience on the Premier League stage.
Jarrod Bowen scored 22 times for Hull in 46 Championship matches last season, and also picked up four assists. He particularly impressed in the second half of the season.
He also has a small amount of Premier League experience, playing seven times in the 2016-17 season when Hull were relegated.
Hull have rated the 22-year-old at £15million, but The Sun reports they may be tempted to let him go for cheaper if Arsenal make a bid.
Arsenal’s fierce rivals Tottenham are also interested in his services, however the Gunners are set to make an official bid soon.
Arsenal only have a transfer budget of around £40million after failing to secure a spot in the Champions League next season, so will need to make every penny count this summer.
