Arsenal News: Unai Emery lauds Gunners starlets after Bayern Munich pre-season win

Unai Emery saluted his youngsters after they played a big part in Arsenal’s promising pre-season win against Bayern Munich.

Eddie Nketiah was the Gunners 88th-minute match winner against the German giants after firing home fellow youngster Tyreece John-Jules’s cross to earn Arsenal a 2-1 win at LA Galaxy’s Dignity Health Sports Park home.

Emery started with defender Ainsley Maitland-Niles and midfielder Joe Willock.

He also gave minutes to Reiss Nelson, Robbie Burton and Bukayo Saka against Arsenal’s illustrious opponents.

Emery said: ‘It was an important match for them, each match and each training to give us their performance and energy.
