Arsenal are looking to extend the contract of midfield player Matteo Guendouzi.

He was one of the first signings by manager Unai Emery when he succeeded Arsene Wenger.
Arsenal are keen to extend the contract of 20-year-old midfielder Matteo Guendouzi
His energetic style has made Guendouzi – graduate of the Paris Saint-Germain academy – a favourite with the fans and an asset to Emery.
The France Under-21 international, who was born some 15 miles from Paris in Poissy, qualifies for Morocco but has pledged his allegiance to France.
He has nine caps for ‘Les Espoirs’ and national manager Dider Deschamps has been alerted to Guendouzi’s progress.
The French midfielder’s current £40,000 a week wage would rise to around £70,000
He was an unknown quantity in English football but his impact has seen his value soar to around £30million – and Arsenal want to secure him him on a long-term deal.
His current deal has two and a half years to run but Arsenal would want to tie him down for the next five years.
Guendouzi’s current wage is around £40,000 a week but if a new arrangement can be agreed, those wages would rise to around £70,000.
