Arsenal manager Unai Emery is a huge admirer of Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser, according to a report in England.
The Daily Star is reporting that the Gunners boss was impressed with Fraser’s performances for Bouremouth last season.
The same article states that Unai Emery is desperate to add a winger to the Arsenal team ahead of the new Premier League season.
According to the same story, the Spanish head coach has given up his pursuit of Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha.
The report goes on to add that Emery is now focused on Fraser rather than Zaha as he looks to strengthen a key position in his team.
Fraser is set to become a free agent next summer so the Scotland international could be available to sign in a cut-price deal in the current transfer window.
The Bournemouth winger netted seven times and made 14 assists in the Premier League last season to finish as the division’s second-highest assist maker.
Arsenal have only signed one player in the summer transfer window so far after the Gunners completed a deal for 18-year-old Gabriel Martinelli from Ituano in a £5m transfer.
The Gunners finished in fifth spot last season before losing 4-1 to Chelsea FC in the Europa League final in Baku.
