Arsenal are preparing a bid to sign Nancy teenager Bilel Hassaini, according to a report in France.
French media outlet Foot Mercato, as quoted by The Sun, is reporting that the Gunners are interested in a potential deal to bring the 18-year-old to The Emirates.
The same article states that Atletico Madrid, FC Barcelona, Manchester City and Valencia have all shown an interest in the French youngster.
According to the same story, Arsenal’s London rivals Crystal Palace are also keen on a potential swoop to sign the France Under-17 international.
The Sun report go on to quote Sport Witness, who are claiming that Hassaini would rather a move to Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the other suitors.
Arsenal manager Unai Emery could be forced to offer Hassaini higher wages or Nancy more money if the Gunners want to sign the 18-year-old ahead of PSG, the story concludes.
The Gunners are thought to have a limited transfer budget this summer, which is forcing Arsenal to think outside the box in the summer transfer window.
The north London side finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last term to miss out on a place in the Champions League.
Arsenal lost 4-1 to bitter rivals Chelsea FC in the Europa League final in Baku as they ended Emery’s first season without any silverware.
