Unai Emery’s side will hope their new deal with Adidas can inspire a Champions League spot after falling short last year.
One man to feature heavily in the kit launch has been Wright, who scored 185 goals for the north London side in nearly 300 appearances.
And footage has emerged of the 55-year-old taking a trip down memory lane.
In the clip, the Englishman is presented with different shirts from his playing career at Arsenal.
The first one is the strip for his debut against Leicester in the League Cup.
“It took me two weeks to wear it,” Wright says.
“Because there were two away games and then we played against Chelsea.”
As he is about to move on to the next shirt, the Gunners legend touches the club badge on the shirt with his finger.
And he quietly says: “Look at that badge.
“That’s what we’re talking about.”
Wright then appears stunned by the inclusion of the next shirt, which he describes as “amazing”.
And his voice appears to crack briefly with emotion before explaining the story behind it.
“I got a couple of hat-tricks in this one,” the 55-year-old continued.
“Two in a week.”
He laughs before praising the new kit for being “simple and classy”.
This footage was shared on the club’s official YouTube channel earlier today, where it has been viewed more than 45,000 times.
And the Gunners faithful shared their club legend’s emotions.
“Lovely touch on the Arsenal badge,” one supporter said.
“Lovely touch on the Arsenal badge – bleeds Arsenal”
Another commented: “Ian Wright is the man – true Arsenal fan.”
While a third could not contain their emotions.
“This brought tears to my eyes,” they said.
And a fourth added: “Wright was so emotional.”
It comes as seven players have been revealed as Gunners targets this summer.
