Unai Emery has been boosted to learn that Alexandre Lacazette expects be to fit enough to return to action for the Gunners’ upcoming clash with Sheffield United.
Lacazette has missed seven games with his ankle injury and Arsenal have suffered without him.
With 13 goals, Emery’s side are the lowest scorers of the Premier League’s top five teams.
The former Lyon striker was in good form before he was struck down with ankle pain that required an operation.

But according to ESPN, Lacazette is confident of being ready for the Gunners’ trip to Bramall Lane in 10 days’ time.
Kieran Tierney uploaded an image to his Instagram stories which added credence to the claims.
The image shows himself and Lacazette after a recent training session, with a caption reading: “Wagan, @lacazettealex ,” accompanied with a laughing face emoji.
Lacazette has been partaking in outdoor training for a week now, report Football.london.

Meanwhile, Arsenal hero Bob Wilson reckons the Gunners’ new Brazilian youngster Gabriel Martinelli has a look of Ian Wright about him.
The 18-year-old signed for the club from Ituano this summer, and has already caught the eye by scoring four goals.
“Martinelli, who was absolutely outstanding last week and looks to be like Ian Wright,” said the former goalkeeper.
“I was talking to two or three Brazilians and they were talking to me in their language and I’m going ‘What does that mean?’ and they went ‘Sniff, he knows how to sniff out a goal’, that’s Martinelli.”
