And Kolasinac has since been hailed by fans for his courageous actions.
The Bosnian was seen squaring up to the men in CCTV footage which quickly went viral.
But the 26-year-old was able to see the funny side, posting on Twitter later the same day.
And he has earned an image as a hard man at Arsenal.
Images have now emerged from within the club which show they agree.
In the picture, the door to the club’s security office can be seen.
And below it is an image of Kolasinac flexing his muscles.
The snap emerged earlier today on Reddit, where fans hailed the Bosnian once again.
“What a tank,” one supporter said.
Another commented: “He’s going to get the biggest cheer in the first game.”
While a third suggested the 26-year-old should be rewarded.
“He deserves a guard of honour at the first home game,” they said.
“We should just play him at the back on his own, 1-5-4”
And a fourth added: “We should just play him at the back on his own, 1-5-4.
“No-one would get past.”
CCTV footage emerged on Thursday of the shocking incident.
In the clip, a black Hummer – owned by Ozil – can be seen in north London.
Two men on motorbikes pull up alongside the vehicle as they attempt to catch the Gunners stars.
But Kolasinac jumps out of the car to take on the pair.
He bounces around before chasing both attackers off.
