Arsenal youngster Matteo Guendouzi was hailed by fans after grabbing a stunning assist for his country.
The midfielder has only failed to appear for the Gunners in two games this season.
And Guendouzi has helped Unai Emery’s side to third in the Premier League.
The 19-year-old has been praised by fans since he joined from Lorient last season.
He even has two assists this season – and footage has emerged of the Frenchman adding another on international duty.
In the clip, the Under-21s are taking on Azerbaijan in a Euro U21 qualifier.
Les Bleus are 1-0 up after 36 minutes.
The ball is won by Boubakary Soumare in France’s half.
Guendouzi is the first to it on the right wing – and he acts immediately.
The Gunners teenager spots the runs of Houssem Aouar and Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard.
He fires a ball up the pitch, into the path of the Bhoys goalscorer.
And the forward gets past two players to find the back of the net.
Edouard goes straight over to Guendouzi for a hug.
This set them on the way to a 5-0 win in their Euro U21 qualifier on Thursday.
The footage was shared on Reddit yesterday, where the Gunners faithful hailed their young midfielder.
“Guendouzi is so composed,” one supporter said.
Another commented: “Filthy first touch.”
While a third added: “What a pass.”
And a fourth compared him to a club legend, saying: “I just saw a glimpse of [Dennis] Bergkamp right there.”
It comes as teammate Lucas Torreira has denied feeling anger towards Emery.
