Arsenal are reportedly confident of landing the services of midfielder Dani Ceballos on a temporary deal from Real Madrid this summer.
The north London side have been in discussions for the 22-year-old over the past week and The Mirror suggests that they are on the cusp of signing him on a temporary basis.
Tottenham Hotspur are also said to have made an approach of their own for the Spaniard but the Gunners are understood to hold the edge, given the midfielder believes he has chances of more gametime with Unai Emery‘s side.
The former Real Betis youngster has struggled for regular playing time in the starting lineup at Los Blancos and it has been claimed that Zinedine Zidane would prefer sanctioning his sale on a permanent deal.
However, that does not seem likely, given club president Florentino Perez sees the Spaniard as a strong candidate to cement a midfield spot with Los Blancos in the long-term.
