Mesut Ozil has dropped a cryptic post on Twitter as rumours surrounding a fallout between him and Unai Emery continue to fly.
Arsenal fans are losing patience with Emery after a continued poor away form stretch.
Their shock loss to Sheffield United means that they have failed to win on the road since their opening game against Newcastle.
During the match, the Spanish manager used a variety of players at No.10 including Bukayo Saka and Granit Xhaka.
But their specialist in that position, Ozil, was nowhere to be seen having been dropped from the squad.
Photos emerged between the two in training showcasing some sort of argument and fans believe there has been a fallout behind the scenes.
And the German’s latest post on Twitter will only amplify those rumours – despite it not being exactly clear what he’s referring to.
He tweeted a picture of himself, captioned: “You make me laugh…”
Prior to the Sheffield United loss, Emery insisted he was happy with the ex-Real Madrid star.
He said: “I am speaking every day with Raul [Sanllehi], Edu and with the players.
“Our work is more important than our words and really now I am very happy at the club.
“I am really happy with the players. The last two, three, four weeks, every player – and Mesut Ozil – is working very well.
“This is why we can be positive and we can think we are going to do something important this year.
“I was speaking with Raul and this is the same idea when he is speaking with me.”
