The Gunners’ crop of young players ran riot again in the Europa League, with Gabriel Martinelli scoring twice.
Joe Willock grabbed the third, while Dani Ceballos wrapped the game up in the second period.
Willock continues to impress for Arsenal and is knocking on Unai Emery’s door when it comes to earning a regular place in the senior side.
And the youngster has admitted he is spurred on by his manager, who wanted his young guns to keep going even at 4-0 up.
“One of my targets is to get more goals in my game and it’s even better that my goal and my team’s goals has also come with a clean sheet,” he said.
“The manager told us to keep going even if it’s three or four nil.
“We want to get the ball back and get more goals. He drills that into is.
“We have a manager here who wants to play youngsters and I have to make sure I take my chances and prove why that is the way forward.”
Emery is happy with his side after their opening two games in the competition.
But he wants his side to continue improving.
“To have six points after the two matches, it’s really important,” the Spaniard said.
“We can take confidence. We were consistent over the 90 minutes and we can take a lot of positivity from tonight’s game.
“The players, when they did all they can like tonight, it is perfect.
“We did a lot of good, we can analyse to continue to improve. It’s a fantastic victory.”
