According to a report from TEAMtalk, Crystal Palace teenager Zion Atta is set to reject the chance to move elsewhere after attracting attention from the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.
TEAMtalk reports that the 14-year-old was wanted by the Gunners and Spurs before his switch to Selhurst Park from Millwall last year.
The report suggests that Tottenham and Arsenal remain in the hunt to sign the forward. And they have been joined by the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City in the race.
However, TEAMtalk suggests that Atta’s family are happy about how his career is progressing with the Eagles. Palace will not be able to prevent the youngster leaving while he is not on professional terms, but it does appear that he has no plans to rock the boat as things stand.
Palace have brought a number of incredibly exciting young players through their system down the years. Players such as Nathaniel Clyne, Victor Moses and Wilfried Zaha are amongst their more recent success stories.
Atta will seemingly be hoping to follow in their footsteps. Given the level of interest in him however, it may not be a surprise if it is not too long before he is being linked with a move away once again.
The likes of Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool would be incredibly difficult for any prospect to turn down. So perhaps this is a name that their fans may need to keep a keen eye on in the coming years.
