Morgan was extremely vocal about the Frenchman and repeatedly called for his sacking, despite his legendary status at Arsenal.
Tweeting in June 2015, the presenter wrote: “Arsenal would be perfect for Jurgen Klopp – and he would be perfect for Arsenal. Sign him.
“If we don’t sign Klopp, he will go to another top club and win trophies. The guy’s a dynamic, driven young winner.
“Two league titles in last five years against one of the greatest Bayern sides ever – and some Arsenal fans don’t think Klopp’s good enough? Wow.
“Klopp would be our Mourinho. The time has come, Arsenal – act. #KloppIN”
Morgan’s prediction came right, with Liverpool going on to win the Champions League under Klopp in 2019.
And on Thursday evening the Reds finally ended their wait for a Premier League crown, as Chelsea beat Manchester City to end the title race mathematically.
Klopp and his players celebrated late into the night, with the Reds boss admitting the tears got the better of him during the party.
“I don’t know I was just not able to speak,” he told the Telegraph.
