Jack Wilshere’s career at West Ham may have been frustrated by injury but the midfielder still has a competitive streak in him judging by a kickabout with his wife Andriani.
The midfielder has not played for the Hammers since October due to a groin injury but could not resist the urge to get under the spring sun and show off his skills.

But West Ham midfielder made a brutal two-footed lunge while trying to win the ball back
Despite his poor tackle, the Hammers midfielder defended the challenge later on Instagram
She managed to frustrate a couple of the 28-year-old’s nutmeg attempts while he constantly pushes her away in a fashion that some might consider worthy of a VAR appeal.
However what wouldn’t have needed to go to Stockley Park was his rash challenge at the end of the clip posted onto his Instagram account.
As Andriani tries to bring the ball away from Wilshere, the midfielder lunges in clumsily with both feet from behind, leaving his wife on the floor possibly looking for a free-kick.
It’s unlikely she would have got one, but she did get some form of apology from her husband who blamed the appalling challenge on the isolation measures imposed from the coronavirus pandemic.
The midfielder said on Instagram: ‘The frustration of isolation coming out, but to be fair the ball was there to be won, Andriani love you really.’
The move left Andriani down on the ground, with Wilshere blaming the challenge on isolation
